So, this is the lost track from last week. I recorded it at my good friend Jason Marcus's house, and when we recorded it we included some pretty sick midi - in the form of a killer drum loop and jammerific creepy keys, but all of that, alas, has been lost. Thank you, crashed Mac. Thank you.
What's left is the bass line, a rhythm guitar part and some doubled vocals and because of his setup, it doesn't sound half-bad.
I will re-flesh this one out, I promise. For now - this is what we have.
OK, here's the deal. I recorded a killer song with my good friend and genius producer Jason Marcus, earlier this week. His hard drive died, however, right before he was supposed to email me the mixdown.
We should have that file recovered for next week - week 28, but for now, we're going with this little number composed today.
Many many many apologies for my unforgivable tardiness this week! I wish I had a song for you today - but it doesn't look likely. I should have something up by midnight tomorrow.. I know this is super lame, but for reasons not mostly in my control, my real life got the better of me this week.
